The clock tower was worked up in watercolor, pastels and colored pencil with a little graphite thrown into the mix. l use the first light tones of watereolor and pastels to set my color scheme. I then bring the majority of the rendering together with colored pencils. In an effort to make a piece as crisp as possible, I use very sharp, hard drafting pencils to add contrast and clean up various edges.
