Lars Nyberg

Lars Nyberg was born in 1956 and attended the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm from 1978 – 1983. He specializes in drypoint and his work is featured in private and public collections across Europe, Japan and the USA.

In 2001 he received a commission from The Nobel Committee for Physiology and Medicine to make an Edition of for the Nobel prize award winner for that year. Since 2006 he has been responsible in selecting the artists to be commissioned to create the annual Edition ofs for the Nobel Prize award for Physiology or Medicine.
Lars has been working as a visiting artist at the Graphic Studio Workshop in Dublin for the past 15 years.

His represented in the private collection of H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf as well as in the private collection of H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria.
