Linda
Lee Boyd achieves strikingly detailed portraits and scenes with the
unique set of tools she brings to her woodcuts. Hard to convey on
the internet, these portraits of laborers going about their work are
wonderfully rendered.
Her woodcuts have been shown throughout the San Francisco Bay Area,
including the Oakland Museum; Warner Roberts Gallery and Pacific Art
League in Palo Alto, California; Emeryville Celebration of the Arts;
and the Berkeley Art Center. |
