Maurice Pasternak received his training in art at ENSAV, Belgium’s national academy for the training of students with superior artistic ability. Since graduation, he has engaged in the creation of drawings, pastels and mezzotints. Since 1982 he has served as the chief professor of art at ENSAV.

His work has won numerous awards throughout Europe and the United States.
