Charles Arnoldi became a popular California artist best known for his brightly-colored, abstract paintings and prints.
He was born in 1946 in Dayton, Ohio. At the age of eighteen, Arnoldi moved to Los Angeles. After two years at Ventura Junior College band the Art Center School in Los Angeles he enrolled in the Chouinard Art Institute and soon gained recognition for his skill when he received a Los Angeles County Museum of Art talent award. However it was after his formal schooling that he seriously began developing his own style.
He continues to exhibit widely throughout the United States and is included in many public collections.
