Chester Arnold

Arnold was born in then United States in 1952, but was raised Germany for a major portion of his childhood. He currently resides in Sonoma, CA. Through his paintings Arnold explores the natural world and the human events that inhabit it, constructing narratives that celebrate and question our presence in the world. His work has been widely exhibited and won a number of awards. His work is in many public collections, including: Smithsonian American Art Museum; Pasadena Museum of California Art; Nevada Museum of Art; The di Rosa Preserve: Art and Nature; the Tacoma Museum of Art; San Jose Museum of Art.
