Origin Beginning series

The Origin-Beginning series by Seiko Tachibana consists of seven intaglio prints developed in connection with an artist book project completed in 2007. Using softly layered circular forms, subtle tonal shifts, and expansive negative space, the works explore moments of emergence and early structure rather than fixed systems. Seen together, the series unfolds as a sequence of quiet variations, emphasizing balance, rhythm, and the gradual formation of visual relationships.
