In Yo Soy La Desintegracion, Daniel Gonzalez transforms the familiar image of Frida Kahlo into a dramatic skeletal figure surrounded by flames, skulls, and dense vegetation. Carved in bold black and white, the linocut combines imagery associated with Mexican popular culture and Día de los Muertos with an irreverent reimagining of one of Mexico's most recognizable artists.
