Beach Hut is a striking contemporary drypoint with monotype by British-born printmaker Jenny Robinson. Depicting an isolated beach lifeguard tower, Robinson transforms a familiar coastal structure into a monumental architectural form through dramatic perspective, rich textures, and subtle tonal variations.
Printed in an edition of only five impressions, Beach Hut exemplifies Robinson's internationally recognized approach to large-scale contemporary printmaking and architectural imagery. Robinson has received numerous honors, including the Mario Avati Gravure Award from the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and her work is represented in major museum collections including the Library of Congress and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
