A shallow bowl in a warm crater-red glaze by Otto & Gertrud Natzler. The interior features a glowing red center radiating into flecked and cratered textural patterns typical of their volcanic glaze series. Wheel-thrown by Otto and glazed by Gertrud. Signed Natzler on the base. An excellent example of their controlled experiments with crater surfaces and heat-reactive glaze chemistry.
