An evocative etching and aquatint that distills landscape and narrative into a restrained, abstract composition. Broad horizontal bands of muted blue, cream, ochre, and charcoal suggest land, sea, and structure, while roughened textures and layered tones give the surface a quiet physical presence.
The title alludes to Odysseus’ raft, yet Bozon avoids literal illustration. Instead, the image reads as a memory of passage or survival—forms appearing worn, weathered, and held in balance. Through subtle shifts in tone and carefully controlled aquatint, Bozon creates a work that feels both architectural and elemental, grounded in material process while open to poetic interpretation.
